Steve began his photography career as a photo lab specialist at the Foxboro Company (now Invensys) and left Foxboro as a senior photographer. During his time at Foxboro he photographed computers, executives, manufacturing facilities and products as diverse as a tuning fork on a postage stamp (a measuring device to measure the flow of manufactured products) to oil refineries in Texas. As a corporate photographer his photography was used to illustrate concepts and scenarios for advertising and marketing publications and campaigns.
As a freelance photographer since September of 1990 Steve specializes in editorial, interior, advertising, architectural, commercial and landscape photography. He has traveled throughout the United States completing assignments for a variety of clients and has worked with some of New England’s finest interior designers and architects. While many of the assignments he photographs are for interior designers, builders and architects he still continues to photograph people, products, landscapes and food for advertising and editorial clients. His work has been published in the following publications: Architectural Digest, Gourmet, Decorating With Style, Walls, Windows and Floors, The Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, Boston Design, Canadian House & Home, Signature Kitchens & Baths, My Home In The Mountain States, Fine Homebuilding, Home By Design, The Cape Cod Times, Cape Cod View, Inside Cape Cod, Cape Cod Life, Cape Cod Home, Cape Cod Remodeling and Cape Cod Golf.
He has also contributed photographs that have been published in over 40 books on interior design. Steve was commissioned to produce the photographs for A House On Haven Street: A Family Album, a coffee table book produced for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Endicott House and designed by Joe Gallante of Coy’s Brook Studio of Harwich MA.
Civil War hero General Stephen Minot Weld built the Endicott House, originally called Rockweld, in Dedham in the early 1870’s. The Endicott family who founded the Endicott Johnson Shoe Company eventually bought the home. They donated the house to MIT. For the last fifty years it has functioned as an educational and conference center. The Cape Cod Times review stated,“this coffee table book for MIT is chock full of history and beautiful photographs.”

Steve has been a member of ASMP since 1991, he also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth and a Master of Science in Communications /Media from Fitchburg State College.
